Manju Warrier was born on10 September 1980. She is an Indian actress and dancer in the Malayalam film industry. She is one of the most titled leading actresses and is considered the superstar of Malayalam cinema.
Warrier married actor Dileep in 1998 and stopped acting. In 2015, they divorced. Since then, she has returned to the cinema with the critically acclaimed commercial hit movie How Old Are You?, Which has garnered her many accolades, including the fifth Best Actor Filmfare award – Malayalam.
Manju Warrier was born in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, India. His father, Madhavan Warrier, worked as an accountant at the Sundaram Finance regional office in Nagercoil. She was educated at CSI Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Nagercoil. After the promotion of his father, they returned to Kerala and settled in Kannur. She studied at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannur and later at Chovva High School. She then graduated from Sree Narayana College, Kannur, remotely. She has an older brother, Madhu Warrier, who is also an actor and producer.
On October 20, 1998, Manju married actor Dileep at Aluva Sri Krishna Temple. The couple has a daughter, Meenakshi. They filed for divorce in 2014 and it was granted in January 2015. His autobiography, Sallapam (Memories), was published in November 2014.
