Raai Laxmi is an Indian actress and model born on 5 May 1989, in the role of Lakshmi Rai in Tamil and Malayalam films, as well as in Telugu and Kannada films. She made her Bollywood debut with the movie Julie 2 (2017).
Raai has more than ten years of experience in the film industry, acting in more than 50 films in multiple languages.
Raai Lakshmi was born on 5 May 1989, in Belagavi, from Karnataka to Ram Rai and Manjula Rai. She is a Saurashtrian (Gujarati) from the Kutchi community.
Raai Laxmi debuted in the Karka Kasadara Tamil film in 2005, after director R. V. Udayakumar was impressed by his performance in a short film called Valmiki. Subsequently, she appeared in a number of Tamil films
