Sumanth Reddy was born January 7, 1980, better known as Vaibhav Reddy, is an Indian film actor, son of the famous director of Telugu, A. Kodandarami Reddy. He made his film debut with the movie Telugu 2007 Godava under the direction of his father. He is best known for his performances in Venkat Prabhu, Saroja, Goa and Mankatha.
He comes from a Telugu family. He attended Cambridge Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Lloyds Road, Chennai, Tamil Nadu and St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in Chennai.
He made his film debut in 2007, playing in the film Telugu Godava under the direction of his father, alongside Shradha Arya, who did not have much success at the box office. Before starting, he trained at the Asha Chandra School of Acting in Mumbai, Sathyan and Vizag. He then starred in Saroja, a comedic thriller and Tamil thriller.
He worked for the third time with Venkat Prabhu in Mankatha starring Ajith Kumar alongside Arjun Sarja. The film released generally to positive reviews while marking the second highest-grossing opening for a Tamil film and become big blockbuster.
