Disha Patani is an Indian actress. She began her career with the movie Telugu Loafer (2015), opposite Varun Tej, and followed her starring in the Hindi sports film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016) and the action movie Baaghi 2 (2018).
Disha Patani debuted with a Telugu movie, Loafer alongside Varun Tej in 2015. She played the role of Mouni, a girl who fled from her home to escape a forced marriage. Directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by C. Kalyan under C.K. Entertainment, the film was produced with a £ 200 million budget and performed poorly at the box office with a lifetime collection of £ 106 million. The following year, Disha appeared in a video, Befikra with Tiger Shroff, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar in the T series and composed by Meet Bros. Singer Aditi Singh Sharma her voice.
Disha Patani Patani found her commercial break with Mr.S. Neeraj Pandey Dhoni: The Untold Story, a biographical sports film based on the story of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, former captain of the Indian cricket team with Sushant Singh Rajput and Kiara Advani. She played the role of Priyanka Jha, the girlfriend of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who died in a car accident. Patani then played in Baaghi 2 with Tiger Shroff, a sequel to Baaghi’s 2016 hit with Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Ahmed Khan, the film was released worldwide on March 30, 2018 and brought in about 243 crore.
