Swathi Reddy is an Indian television actress and presenter born 19 April 1987 in Russia. She works mainly in Telugu cinema alongside Tamil films and Malayalam. His nickname Colors Swati comes from his appearance on the 1996 TV show Colors of Telugu, which aired on Maa TV and won its fame. After playing supporting roles, she made her debut as a lead actress in the Tamil film Subramaniapuram (2008). Her role in the Telugu film, Ashta Chamma, earned her the Filmfare Award and the Nandi Award for Best Actress.

Swathi Reddy was born in Vladivostok, Soviet Union (now Russia). She was named Svetlana, but later she was changed to Swathi. She graduated from SFS High School in Visakhapatnam. His father, who was an officer in the Indian Navy, trained as a submariner in the Soviet Union. She has an older brother named Siddharth. Her family moved to Mumbai and then to Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam, where she spent most of her childhood. While studying in 11th class, she moved to Hyderabad. She enrolled at St. Mary’s College in Yousufguda, Hyderabad, and graduated with a degree in Biotechnology.

After her EAMCET, she ventured on television at age 17 by hosting a show called Colors. 1996-1998 Following a positive response, the program was expanded and moved to the scheduled time in prime time. She then presented more than 150 episodes. After completing the first year of her degree, she made her feature film debut.

She is married to her boyfriend Vikas Vasu, Malayali pilot, on August 30, 2018.
