Tyra Lynne Banks was born December 4, 1973, also known as BanX, is an American television personality, producer, businesswoman, actress, author, model and occasional singer. Born in Inglewood, California, she began her modeling career at the age of 15 and was the first woman of African American descent to appear on the covers of GQ and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, on which she appeared three times. She was a secret angel from Victoria from 1997 to 2005. In the early 2000s, Tyra Banks was one of the highest-paid models in the world.
Banks started playing on television in 1993 in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and made his film debut in Higher Learning in 1995. In 2000, she had major roles such as Eve in Disney Channel’s Life- Size and Zoe in the box office hit. Ugly coyote. She had small roles in the romantic film Love & Basketball (2000) and the horror film Halloween: Resurrection (2002)
In 2010, she published a novel for young adults called Modelland, based on her life as a model. He was at the top of the New York Times’ best sellers list in 2011. Banks is one of four African-Americans and seven women to be repeatedly ranked among the most influential people in the world by Time magazine. She is also one of seventeen models to be classified as a legendary model by models.com.
The banks went out with the Norwegian photographer Erik Asla in the 2010s, and in January 2016, they had a biological son born by surrogacy. Banks said that she tends to avoid drinking and has never used other recreational drugs.
Banks denounced abusive relationships in its past. In 2005, when asked about her relationship history, she said, “I won’t be using a lot of names in the series, but a specific relationship was not just cheating but emotional abuse. It was really bad, but it made me strong. “In 2009, she exposed her past relationships when she appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, hosting alongside Oprah Winfrey. The episode was devoted to dating violence in response to Rihanna’s assault by Chris Brown.
