Vivek Prasanna is an Indian actor who played in Tamil-language films as a secondary actor. He recently won the Vijay Award for Best Supporting Actress for his performance in the film Meyaadha Maan.
After several appearances in short films and TV films, he made his film debut alongside Vijay Sethupathi in the crime drama of Arun Kumar, Sethupathi (2016). A critic of Indiaglitz.com noted that Vivek Prasanna as “the main henchman corresponds to the role of the T”.
In 2017, he made a breakthrough and appeared in supporting roles in a successful Tamil film series. His role as a drug lord Ravi in Vikram Vedha and politician in Peechankai was also hailed by Vivek. He then appeared as the second lead role in the romantic comedy Meyaadha Maan, garnering rave reviews for his portrayal of the character of Vinoth.
